With the tick hook from Pahema you can remove ticks easily and safely – including the head and mouthparts. Unlike tick tweezers, forceps or similar tools, the tick hook does not squeeze the tick's body. This reduces the risk of contracting diseases such as babesiosis, borreliosis or TBE through transmission during removal.

The tick hook makes it possible to remove the tick in about 5 seconds – no matter how big it is or where it is located. The process is painless, as there is no pulling or tearing of hairs, and there are no side effects. The hook is particularly practical for sensitive areas such as eyes or mouth.

Application:
1. Select the appropriate hook. Each set contains three sizes, which are used according to the size of the tick.
2. Now brush the fur aside. Guide the tick hook from the side under the tick (ticks are flattened) until the tick is hooked.
3. Rotate the tick hook clockwise or counter-clockwise. The tick will release itself after about 2 - 3 rotations.
4. Check whether the tick has been completely removed and disinfect the area.

Application Recommendation:
